Iacopo Melio

Iacopo Melio serves as a regional councilor for Regione Toscana since September 2020 and has held editorial positions at various publications, including Vanity Fair, La Repubblica, and TPI - The Post Internazionale, since 2019. Previously, Iacopo worked as an editorialist for Fanpage.it from 2016 to 2020 and served as president of the non-profit organization #vorreiprendereiltreno Onlus, which focuses on disability awareness and architectural barrier removal in Italy, from 2015 to 2020. Additionally, Iacopo has experience as a freelance journalist and was briefly a motivational speaker for TED Talks in 2019. Iacopo holds a degree in Political Science, Communication, Media, and Journalism from the Università degli Studi di Firenze, completed in 2020, and attended Liceo Scientifico for secondary education.
