Derek Church

Derek Church, CPA, currently serves as the Director of Accounting at Vann York Auto Group since August 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Manager and Manager in the Dealership Services Group at Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP, as well as a Senior Manager position at FORVIS from October 2020 to July 2023. Earlier in their career, Derek held positions such as Senior Audit Associate at Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP and Director of Internal Audit at Tweetsie Railroad, where responsibilities included managing internal audit teams and reconciling accounts. Additionally, early experiences in customer service roles contributed to significant skill development. Derek holds a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting, both from Appalachian State University.
