John C. Lee

John C. Lee has a diverse work experience spanning over 12 years. In 2010, they joined the United States Marine Corps, where they held numerous roles including Data Engineer, Operations, Assistant Professor, Helicopter Instructor Pilot & Operations Manager, Naval Aviation Flight Training, The Basic School, and Information Operations Red Team Leader. In 2019, they co-founded Space Domain Awareness, a company that builds a commercially viable optical hardware for small satellites in low earth orbit to aid in identification and traffic management. John C. raised over $250k seed for growth of business and plans to launch into space by end of 2022. Additionally, they are currently working as a Software Engineer at Vannevar Labs and as an Entrepreneur at FedTech.

John C. Lee attended the United States Naval Academy from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a degree in Ocean Engineering with Merit. John C. then went on to attend Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from 2018 to 2020, where they earned a Master of Science in Human Factors Engineering.
