Nikki Huynh has been working in the field of research since 2016. Nikki began their career as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of Central Florida, where they utilized and maintained conditions of anaerobic chambers to culture C. difficile and isolated marine natural product while calculating the Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) to optimally inhibit C. difficile growth. Nikki also worked as a Teacher Assistant. In 2018, Huynh moved to Colorado State University, where they worked as a Teacher Assistant and Research Assistant. In 2019, they joined Back of the Yards Algae Sciences (BYAS) as a Research Associate. In 2021, they were hired as an Associate Scientist II at Luminex Corporation - A DiaSorin Company. Huynh currently holds the role of Research Associate II at Vanqua Bio.
Nikki Huynh received their Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences with a focus in Molecular Biology from the University of Central Florida between 2013 and 2018. Nikki then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology at Colorado State University, which they completed in 2021.
