Dave most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Vanquis Banking Group, where they played a key role in the company's transformation and growth. Prior to that, they served in various senior positions at HSBC, including CFO of HSBC Bank plc (Europe) and Director, CFO of HSBC UK Bank plc, CFO of HSBC Bank plc (Europe), CFO of HSBC's Global Commercial Banking, and CFO of HSBC Middle East & North Africa. Dave also held leadership roles at CAF Bank, Lloyds' Insurance Market - City Run-Off Limited, and KPMG UK. Throughout their career, Watts has demonstrated expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and implementing cost-efficient processes.
Dave Watts attended the University of Birmingham from 1984 to 1987, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Geography and Physical Education. Dave then went on to study at ICAEW from 1987 to 1990. In 1994-1995, they attended the Association of Corporate Treasurers.
