Derek O'Harrow CITP FBCS has over 35 years of work experience in various roles related to IT infrastructure, cloud architecture, and technology strategy. Derek is currently serving as the Lead Infrastructure & Cloud Architect at Vanquis Banking Group, where they are responsible for driving cloud strategy and implementing cloud cost management. Prior to this, Derek worked at Virgin Media O2 as the Chief Cloud Architect and Lead Technology & Cloud Architect, where they played a key role in developing and implementing cloud technology strategies. Derek also served in multiple leadership positions at O2 (Telefónica UK), including Lead Technology Architect and Managing Technical Architect, where they were responsible for defining IT technology strategies and driving technology initiatives. Additionally, Derek has experience working as an Infrastructure Architecture Manager at Telefonica Global Technology and in various roles at O2 (Telefónica UK), Omron Ltd, United Artists Entertainment Programming Ltd, NM Financial Management Ltd, and West Sussex County Council. Their expertise includes infrastructure strategy, architecture, design governance, and high-level design.
