Morgan L. Kaplan

Morgan L. Kaplan is an accomplished professional currently serving as Director of USG Strategy & Affairs at Vanta since October 2024. Kaplan's extensive experience includes a position as Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations since June 2021, and formerly as Senior Policy & Communications Lead at Palantir Technologies from April 2022 to September 2024. Prior roles include serving as a Fellow in the American Statecraft Program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and as Executive Editor for the International Security: Quarterly Journal at Harvard Kennedy School. Kaplan's academic background features a Ph.D. in Political Science with a focus on International Relations and a Master's Degree in Political Science from the University of Chicago, along with a Bachelor's Degree in International Affairs from The George Washington University.
