Filip Lemmens

Filip Lemmens has a diverse work experience in the aviation industry. Filip started their career in 2002 at oneworld airline alliance, where they developed and managed the global corporate sales strategy. Filip also conceptualized and implemented businessflyer, a solution for small and medium-sized corporate clients. From 2006 to 2010, they served as the Director of Commercial at oneworld Management Company, overseeing sales, marketing, and global communications activities. Filip then joined oneworld airline alliance as the Director of Information Technology, focusing on aligning technology with business objectives. In 2011, they worked at Connxys Technology, Inc. as the Director of Airline Partnerships, collaborating with airline partners to deliver baggage tracking and reconciliation solutions. Since 2012, they have been with Vantage Airport Group, where they have held various senior roles, including Vice President of Capital Project Definition & Development. Filip played a significant role in the development and due diligence of the winning consortium bid for the $4 billion Central Terminal Building Redevelopment Project at LaGuardia Airport.

Filip Lemmens pursued their education at the University of Antwerp, where they obtained a Master's degree in Applied Economics with a specialization in Quantitative Economics. Filip completed this degree between 1987 and 1991. Later, they pursued further education at the same university and obtained a Master's degree in Maritime Transport between 1991 and 1992.
