Shawn Smith

Shawn Smith is a seasoned energy professional with extensive experience in utility infrastructure and energy resource management. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Utility Infrastructure at Vantage Data Centers, Shawn leads a team overseeing HV and MV power, gas, and telecommunications for new data centers in North America. Previously, Shawn held the position of Chief Energy Resources Officer at Chelan County PUD, managing a team of 25 in economic evaluation, regulatory compliance, and energy market operations. Further experience includes roles as Integrated Resources Manager at the City of Anaheim and Senior Contract Manager at Southern California Edison, where Shawn was instrumental in renewable energy contract negotiations and power supply planning. With a solid foundation in business development from V-Grid Energy Systems and strategic management experience with Matrix Planning, Shawn's expertise is complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Economics from UCLA.
