Joe Martin Okakpu possesses extensive experience in production and quality control within the manufacturing sector. Currently serving as a Batch Mixer at Mapei since September 2017 while also working as a Production Labourer for MAPEI Americas, Joe is adept in managing chemical handling for production processes. Previous roles include Production Operator at Vantage Foods Inc. and Production Worker at Procter & Gamble, as well as General Laborer at Autosystems Manufacturing Inc., where responsibilities included molding and assembly line tasks. Educational qualifications include a diploma in Manufacturing Engineering Technology/Technician and a diploma in Chemical Technology/Technician from Loyalist College, along with a Bachelor's degree in Human Physiology from Nnamdi Azikiwe University.

Vantage Foods is a private, family-owned business and currently operates three state-of-the-art food processing facilities; two in Canada and one in the USA. We call these facilities Service Centres, which provide unique, retail-ready service programs for fresh meats to progressive retailers. Our products include beef, pork, veal, ground beef, and fresh sausage produced within our Service Centres. We’re excited about expanding our operations in 2018 in our Belleville, Ontario facility to include seafood products.
