Megan Kempe

Megan Kempe has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Megan currently holds the position of SVP Head of Property & Emerging Risks at Vantage Risk Ltd., starting in September 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Pilotlighter at Pilotlight, a charity organization, providing coaching and mentorship to charity leaders and their boards. Megan also has extensive experience in the insurance industry, having worked at AXA XL and XL Catlin in various roles, including Head of US Property, London Reinsurance and Vice President & Underwriter. Additionally, they have held roles at D. E. Shaw & Co. as Head of Catastrophe Modeling and XL Group plc as Catastrophe Modeling Manager. Megan started their career at Fidelity Worldwide Investment as an Investment Compliance Specialist.

Megan Kempe obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Geography from Wilfrid Laurier University from 1997 to 2001. Megan then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management from 2016 to 2018.
