Lorna Maguire

Lorna Maguire has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Lorna started their career as an Educator, specializing in Biology, at the Arlington Central School District. After almost two decades in education, they transitioned to the corporate sector and joined Winstar Communications as an Elearning Manager for a brief period. In 2001, Lorna joined Vantage-McCann as the Director of Product Marketing for Writing and Assessment Products. During their time there, they led and managed product teams, collected customer insights, set product strategies, and created product roadmaps. In 2012, they moved to Vantage Learning as the Vice President of Product Management. In this role, they provided leadership and management to four Agile product teams, focusing on K12, corporate, higher education, and consumer sectors. Lorna also served as the chief evangelist for K12-Corp writing and assessment products.

Lorna Maguire has a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Lorna also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Animal Behavior and Ethology, with a focus on Biology. In addition, they have obtained a permanent NYS Teacher Certification in Science/Biology. Lorna Maguire has also received certifications as a Scrum Master from Bob Schatz and as a USATF Level 2 Coach from USATF Coaching Education Level 2.
