Ben Schaechter

Ben Schaechter is the Co-Founder & CEO at Vantage. Prior to Vantage, Schaechter worked as a Senior Technical Product Manager at Amazon Web Services from June 2018 to July 2019. While at Amazon, Schaechter worked on a variety of product launches, including Secrets Manager integration into ECS & Fargate and GPU support.

Before Amazon, Schaechter served as Senior Product Manager at DigitalOcean from November 2015 to March 2018. As Product lead for Droplet (Compute), Schaechter was responsible for product decisions on the highest-revenue generating product for the company. Compute revenue grew from ~90M to ~$250M ARR during their tenure.

Schaechter's first foray into the tech world was as a Mobile Product Manager at Yahoo!, which they joined in May 2013 after they acquired the company they founded: GoPollGo. Schaechter primarily worked on search, search metrics & instrumentation, and search SDK while at Yahoo! and left by personal choice to pursue building their own ideas in November 2014.

Between their time at Yahoo! and founding Mazuma Labs, Schaechter worked as a Web Developer at TechCrunch from March 2010 to September 2010. Mazuma Labs was founded in November 2014 and Schaechter served as Co-Founder & CEO until October 2016.

Ben Schaechter received a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Creighton University.
