José Rivera

José Rivera has had an extensive career in the telecommunications industry. José started their career at Vodafone in 2000, where they held various roles including core planning manager, Head of Transport Engineering, and Head of Core & Transport Engineering. During their time at Vodafone, José was responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of the mobile access and transport network, as well as the planning and delivery of the fixed network.

In 2020, José joined Vantage Towers as the Chief Technology Officer. José currently holds this position and is responsible for overseeing the technology strategy of the company.

José Rivera attended Instituto Superior Técnico from 1986 to 1991, where they obtained a Licenciatura degree in computer science.
