Leah Amir, MS, MHA has extensive experience in healthcare consulting, product development, and information technology. Leah began their career in 1990 as the Director of Health Economics at Covidien Mallinckrodt, where they created a reimbursement department and contributed to over $1 billion in revenue. In 1997, they became the Executive Director of the Institute for Quality Resource Management, where they worked to commercialize new medical products and navigate the FDA and reimbursement process. In 1998, they became a Health Economics Consultant at Biosphere Medical, Inc., where they worked to obtain reimbursement for medical devices and providers for uterine artery embolization. From 2003 to 2006, they worked at Zimmer as the Executive Director of Reimbursement, where they created strategies and actionable documentation to engage healthcare payers and provide health economics to medical specialties. Finally, from 2006 to present, they have been the President and CEO of Vantage Links, where they have integrated skills across the continuum of new product development, regulatory approvals, and commercialization.
Leah Amir, MS, MHA received their MHA from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis in 1990, majoring in Health Economics and Operations Research. Leah also received their MS from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis in 1980, majoring in Molecular Biology and Physiology.
