Justin Pfeifer

Justin Pfeifer has a long and varied work experience. Justin started as a New Media Designer at DVD Station in 2005, then moved to Noise13 as a Designer in 2006. Justin then joined Merkle | Interactive Services as an Art Director in 2006. From 2009 to 2013, they held various positions at Western Union, including Director Global Product Development & Design, Sr. Manager Global Product Development & Design ~ Web & Mobile, Manager, Graphic Design: Global Online Services, and Contract, Interactive Visual Designer. During this time, they played an integral role as a member of the core team that redefined the entire digital experience for Western Union, and they were successful in receiving a $30M budget to relocate to San Francisco from Colorado to build a new digital team and execute the digital vision. In 2013, they joined Academy of Art University as an Instructor for the School of Web Design + New Media. Finally, in 2022, they joined Vantiq as the VP of Product Design. At Vantiq, they work with an industry leading application development platform (aPaaS) for real-time edge-native applications, which is built to handle massive scale processing of real-time data from IoT devices, AI systems, Cameras and anything else that connects the physical and digital worlds, and deploy it anywhere in the environment.

Justin Pfeifer attended Academy of Art University from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in New Media Design. Justin also attended Aspen, though no degree or field of study was specified.
