Michael McDermott

Michael McDermott is an accomplished finance executive currently serving as the Global Head of Finance Operations at Vantive since July 2024. Previously, Michael held the position of Senior Director of Global Business Transformation at Verifone from January 2018 to December 2023, where responsibilities included innovating finance processes and standardizing operations across multiple countries. Michael's experience also includes serving as Director of Global Strategy and Finance Transformation at Walgreens Boots Alliance and Director of Finance Transformation and Systems at ARRIS, where focus areas included strategic advisory roles and the development of integrated business processes. Earlier in their career, Michael was Finance Director at Motorola Mobility, managing financial readiness during the company’s transition to a publicly traded entity. Michael holds an MBA in Finance from Loyola University Chicago and completed Executive Education in Business Analytics at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
