Murenzi Safari has worked in the telecommunications industry since 2008. In 2008, they worked as a RF Planning and Optimisation Engineer for Hauwei International Rwanda Ltd. In 2009, they worked as a Senior Radio Frequency Planning and Optimisation Engineer for Tigo Rwanda Ltd (Millicom International Cellular). In 2012, they worked as a Senior Wimax Engineer for BroadBand Systems Corporation (BSC). In 2013, they worked as a Network Manager for Airtel Rwanda. In 2014, they worked as the Chief Engineer Network Services for ECONET WIRELESS INTERNATIONAL. In 2015, they worked as a Project Manager Consultant Ceragon MTN Rwanda for Ceragon Networks. Finally, since 2016, they have been working as Projects Manager & Head of Planning & Deployment for Vanu, Inc.

Murenzi Safari attended Kyambogo University from 2000 to 2007, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunication Engineering.
