Sommer L'Hoste's work experience starts in 1999 when they worked as a Certified Educator for the Shelby County Board of Education and Plaquemines Parish Board of Education until 2011. In 2012, they joined Vapor Thrift Store/Vapor Ministries as a General Manager, where they were responsible for various tasks such as hiring and firing decisions, developing potential leaders, and creating systems for increased productivity. Sommer continued working at Vapor Ministries, transitioning to the role of Chief Marketing Officer in 2017. As CMO, they provided leadership to a diverse team, developed the annual marketing budget, and ensured consistent branding across all communication channels.
