Rod McInnis

SVP Marketing and Technology (Ecommerce) at Vapor4Life

Rod McInnis has over 20 years of experience in the business world. Their career began in 1996 as a Production Planner at Thomas & Betts. In 1997, they became an Account Manager at Material Management Group, where they opened and managed the Los Angeles branch with profit and loss responsibility. In 2003, they joined Intel as a Senior Business Analyst, leading evaluations of major changes to the supply-chain and planning processes in Intel's logistics operations in North and South America. In 2006, they joined Sears Holdings Corporation as General Manager of Online Apparel, leading a team with $150 million in annual revenue. Rod then went on to become Director of Connected Solutions, creating and launching a new, comprehensive Internet of Things (IoT) business within Sears stores. In addition, they served as Director of Strategy and Manager of Multi Channel Initiatives & Analytics. In 2015, they joined Vapor4Life, Inc. as SVP of Marketing and Technology (Ecommerce), responsible for strategy and all operations in addition to full company P&L ownership. Rod turned around the failing ecommerce and products company, quintupling sales over five years and returning the company to profitability while reducing headcount.

Rod McInnis earned their MBA from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business in 2003, with a focus on Strategy and Operations. Prior to that, they obtained a B.S. in Operations Management from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona in 1995.
