Lars Barfod

Lars Barfod is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various industries, particularly in medical devices and healthcare. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Board Member at Vapore, LLC since October 2011, Lars is involved in innovating water vapor products for medical and home use. Previously, Lars held positions such as President and CEO at AlterG, Inc. and Elsevier MDL, demonstrating expertise in physical therapy, scientific software, and commercial development. Furthermore, Lars has a strong background in sales and marketing, including key roles at Genentech and Novo Nordisk A/S, where responsibilities encompassed corporate marketing and product management. Lars obtained a Master of Science degree in Market Economics, biochemistry, and microbiology from the University of Copenhagen.
