Dorota McKay, MBA CPA has a diverse work experience in various accounting and finance roles. Dorota is currently serving as the VP Controller & Chief Accounting Officer at Vapotherm, where they have been responsible for managing accounting and financial operations since January 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Controller and Chief Accounting Officer at Vapotherm from December 2021 to January 2023.

Before joining Vapotherm, Dorota worked as a Controller at Decibel Therapeutics from March 2021 to November 2021. Dorota then served as the Finance Director, Accounting & Process Improvement at Oxford Immunotec from April 2019 to March 2021. Prior to that, they were a Senior Manager in Internal Audit and a Financial Reporting Manager at Oxford Immunotec from April 2018 to April 2019 and July 2016 to April 2018, respectively.

Prior to that, they obtained an M.A. degree in English Language & Literature from Uniwersytet Marii Curie-Skłodowskiej w Lublinie in 2006. Currently, they are pursuing an Executive MBA degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the MIT Sloan School of Management, which they are expected to complete by 2023. In 2022, they completed an Executive Education Program in AI for Business from Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business.
