George McInally has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. George started their career at Aibel in 2008 as an Instrument Engineer, where they were responsible for designing, estimating, and procuring instrumentation systems for Process & Utilities projects. George then moved on to The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate in 2010, where they worked as a Senior Engineer in Fiscal Metering until 2018.
In 2019, George joined Neptune Energy as a Lead Metering Engineer. During their time there, they achieved significant milestones in metering technology and was instrumental in improving the company's metering practices.
Currently, George is working at Vår Energi as a Subsea Manager. In this role, they are responsible for managing a team of 35+ engineers and overseeing subsea operations, including SPS & Controls, SURF, Pipeline, and Subsea IMR. George'sexpertise in resource management and project support has been invaluable to the company's operations in integrity, drilling, and development projects.
George McInally obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the University of Stavanger between 2003 and 2006. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Information Technology, specifically Cybernetics, from the same institution from 2006 to 2008.
