Guido Brusco

Guido Brusco is currently a board member at Vår Energi. Guido has over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, coordinating maintenance and production activities for major projects.

Guido started their career as a production specialist with Eni, one of the largest oil and gas companies in the world. Guido then moved to Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. (KPO), where they spent five years as the maintenance coordinator. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating all maintenance activities for the company's major oil and gas project in Kazakhstan.

In 2006, they joined North Caspian Operating Company N.V. (NCOC N.V.) as the project coordinator for the Kashagan Experimental Program. This program was a major oil and gas development project in Kazakhstan that involved 200,000 maintainable items. Guido was responsible for managing a team of 8 people, including 4 expatriates and 4 nationals. Guido also developed projects involving materials cataloguing, materials stock parameters evaluation, and materials inspection and certification requirements.

In 2008, Guido left NCOC N.V. to join Agip KCO as the operations department manager for the Kashagan EP project. In this role, they were responsible for the implementation of a computerized maintenance management system based on SAP PM for the Kashagan EP project. Guido also oversaw the production reporting process and provided support to the maintenance management team, including training new staff members.

In 2009, they left Agip KCO to join Vår Energi as a board member. Guido has been with Vår Energi ever since, playing an integral role in the company's operations.

Guido Brusco has a degree in civil engineering from Università degli Studi di Genova, a diplom in scientific studies from Liceo Scientifico Martin Luther King Genova, a licenza di scuola media from Scuola Media Maggiore Enrico, and a licenza di scuola elementare from Scuola Elementare Jessie Mario.
