Jan Birger Aarstein

Jan Birger Aarstein has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as an Offshore Installation Manager at Vår Energi since October 2022. Prior to this role, Jan Birger Aarstein worked at Eni Norge AS for over 12 years, leading operations during the startup phase of the Goliat FPSO with a focus on safety and environmental protection. Experience also includes positions at Statoil, where Jan Birger Aarstein managed operations for the Åsgard Minimum Flow project, and was involved in various supervisory roles at Norsk Hydro, contributing significantly to process operations at the Oseberg Fieldcenter. Jan Birger Aarstein holds an apprenticeship in Process from Meløy Videregående Skole.
