Ove Mikal Helle

Ove Mikal Helle is currently serving as Senior Vice President of Internal Audit, Vice President of Safety & Sustainability, and Vice President of HSSEQ at Vår Energi. Prior to this, Ove held the role of Safety & Risk Manager at Point Resources and various roles at ExxonMobil, including Safety & Risk Supervisor and OIMS Coordinator. Ove also has experience working in the military, serving as a Staff Officer at NATO - MCC NORTHWOOD and the Norwegian National Joint HQ. Ove's military background includes roles such as Operations Officer and Navigator at Defence Command North Norway and 333 Squadron RNoAF. Ove holds degrees from the Royal Norwegian Air Force Academy and the Norwegian Air Force Flying School.
