Rune Dreiem

Rune Dreiem has a diverse and extensive work experience in the finance and treasury field. Rune has held various roles in different companies, with a particular focus on the oil and gas industry.

Dreiem's most recent position was as the VP Finance and Treasury at Vår Energi, a leading independent upstream oil and gas company on the Norwegian continental shelf. In this role, they were responsible for driving responsible value-driven growth and ensuring a strong exploration track record.

Rune Dreiem's education history begins with a foundation degree in law from the University of Bergen (UiB), which they obtained from 1993 to 1994. Following this, from 1992 to 1996, they attended the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and obtained a Master of Science degree in Corporate Finance. During the same period, they also attended Norges Handelshøyskole and earned an AFA degree as a Certified European Financial Analyst. Subsequently, in 2009, Rune Dreiem pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Corporate Finance at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).
