Steffen Andreas Varpe

Steffen Andreas Varpe is an experienced professional in the oil and gas industry with a strong background in engineering and project management. Currently serving as Deputy Project Director for Balder Future at Vår Energi, Steffen has previously held roles including Corporate Improvement Manager, VP E&P Improvement, and Asset Manager for the Barents Sea. Prior to Vår Energi, Steffen was Facilities Engineering Supervisor at Point Resources and Project Manager at ExxonMobil, overseeing significant projects such as modification and life extension initiatives. Early career experience includes work as an R&D Engineer at ChapDrive AS and an internship with Statoil, complemented by a technical background as an aircraft technician with SAS. Steffen holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from both the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and the National University of Singapore.
