Terje Bondhus

Terje Bondhus has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Terje is currently working as a Corporate Risk Manager at Vår Energi since January 2023. Prior to this, they co-founded Excitus AS in 2016, where they played an instrumental role in its establishment. Terje also served as a Partner at Front Energy Management AS from June 2018 to January 2023.

Before joining Vår Energi, Terje gained valuable experience working at Proactima as a Consultant from November 2015 to May 2018. Terje'sresponsibilities included being a Subject Matter Expert in client projects and sales and marketing of the company's products and services.

Terje held the position of Head of Business Development at Combitech Norge from October 2013 to October 2015. In this role, they defined and implemented the company's strategy, developed new services and market segments, and carried out sales and marketing activities.

From October 2012 to September 2013, Terje served as a Manager at Ernst & Young, where they were involved in defining and developing risk methodology and related services. Terje also led sales and marketing activities and managed client projects in the areas of risk management and performance improvement.

Terje began their career as a Consultant at Proactima in October 2009, where they gained experience as a project manager and subject matter expert in risk management and HSEQ management. Terje also acted as the Discipline Lead of the company's Management System service area, working with clients in industries such as oil & gas, oil service, energy, and healthcare.

Before joining Proactima, Terje worked at Laerdal Medical as a Risk Manager/Regulatory Affairs Specialist from April 2006 to October 2009. Terje'sduties included regulatory support in development projects and obtaining product approvals and licenses. Terje also served as a Quality Assurance Engineer from September 2004 to March 2006 at Laerdal Medical, where they reviewed and approved engineering change orders and provided QA support to manufacturing and development departments.

Terje's early professional experiences include working as a Business Analyst at Shanghai Yufeng Investment Consulting (China) and as a Scientific Assistance at the University of Stavanger in 2004 and 2003, respectively.

Terje Bondhus obtained a B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering from the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences in 2002. Following this, they pursued an M.Sc. in Industrial Economics and Technology Management at the University of Stavanger from 2002 to 2004. Later, in 2011-2012, Terje attended the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) where they earned an Executive MBA with a specialization in Strategic Management.
