Thomas Paz is currently serving as a Sr. Drilling Engineer at Vår Energi, focusing on delivering extended reach platform wells using MPD through well design and operations. Previously, Thomas held various roles at Shell, including Lead Well Engineer for different projects such as Shearwater infill drilling and Ormen Lange Infill drilling. Thomas also has experience as a Drilling Supervisor on various rigs and has worked as a Well Site Drilling Engineer on deepwater exploration campaigns. Thomas has a Master of Science degree in Drilling Technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Prior to that, Thomas worked as a Process Engineer at Aibel and was involved in projects at the Kårstø gas and condensate processing plant.
