Unni Stalsberg Sjursen

Unni Stalsberg Sjursen is an experienced geologist and exploration manager currently serving as the Exploration Manager for the Balder Area at Vår Energi since February 2021, with previous roles as Geoscience Manager and Exploration Advisor. Prior to Vår Energi, Unni held the position of Senior Geologist at PGNiG Upstream Norway AS for a brief period in 2020 and worked as a Senior Geologist at Cairn Energy from May 2015 to September 2020, focusing on the northern North Sea. Unni's earlier experience includes serving as Team Leader Exploration for Statoil on the Halten Nordland Access Project in the Norwegian Sea, along with various roles in near-field exploration within the North Sea. Unni's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Sedimentology and a Bachelor’s degree in Geology, both from UiT - The Arctic University of Norway. Additional education was obtained from the University of Bergen and Vardafjell.
