Håkan Fransson

Håkan Fransson has extensive experience in drug prevention, currently serving as a Drogförebyggare at Öckerö kommun since August 1995, with a vision to eradicate youth alcohol consumption in all Swedish municipalities by 2026. Additionally, Håkan is a Fritidsledare at Vara kommun since September 2017, leveraging the Öckerö method to combat youth drinking. Håkan has also worked as a Drogförebyggare across various municipalities including Vårgårda, Grästorps, Mölndals, Kungsbacka, and Alingsås, while completing a term at Essunga kommun, continuing to conduct annual drug habit surveys and MHFA courses. Håkan’s educational background includes a degree in Social Work and specialized training in Alcohol and Drug Prevention from the University of Gothenburg.
