Maria Joelsson is a communications manager who has worked in the field for over 20 years. Maria started their career as a marketer and salesperson for a video production company. Maria then moved on to work as a salesperson for a sun-flex company before landing their current role as a communications manager for a municipality. In their role, they are responsible for developing the municipality's brand, creating marketing and communication plans, managing social media accounts, overseeing web development, and coordinating events. Maria has also been responsible for leading customer service improvement projects and served as project manager for the implementation of a contact center. Throughout their career, Maria has demonstrated their ability to effectively manage complex communication strategies and projects.
Maria Joelsson's educational career includes completing an Economics degree with a focus in Marketing from the University of Gothenburg, as well as a leadership development program from the same school. Maria also spent 8 days focused on leadership development in the municipality of Lidköping. Maria Joelsson later went on to complete another Economics degree from the University of Skövde.
Maria Joelsson reports to Anna Cederqvist, Municipal Director. They are on a team with Sverker Andersson - Social Manager, Nils Gustavsson - Technical Manager, and André Essebro - Head of Education.
