Joshua Chung

Joshua Chung is a seasoned professional in the field of U.S. commercial real estate, currently serving as Vice President at Varadero Capital, L.P. since August 2019. In this role, Joshua is responsible for underwriting, structuring, closing, and asset managing bridge and high yield loans, as well as preferred equity investments across various asset classes in the U.S. Prior to this, Joshua held positions at Guardian Life, where responsibilities included serving as a Senior Real Estate Analyst in Mortgage Originations and managing a significant portion of the company’s loan portfolio as a Mortgage Servicer. Joshua began a career in real estate finance as a Financial Analyst at Sterling Equities, facilitating bridge debt placements and collaborating with property management teams. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Psychology from Colgate University, alongside a Master of Science in Commercial Real Estate and a Certificate in Real Estate Finance and Investment from Fordham University.
