Michael Squires is a Senior Astrodynamicist at Varda Space Industries since February 2024, with extensive experience in astrodynamics and software engineering. Previously, as a Staff Astrodynamics Engineer at LeoLabs from January 2021 to November 2023, significant contributions included the design and implementation of an uncooperative maneuver detection system and a Kalman filter noise correction system for a large catalog of space objects. Michael's career includes roles at AGI, where complex astrodynamics problems were addressed, and UC Davis, where innovative tracking techniques and high-performance computing solutions were developed. Michael holds a Ph.D. in Physics and a BS in Computer Science and Physics, both from the University of California, Davis.
