Carin Edman

Carin Edman serves as Huvudhandledare and Studentansvarig at Lasarettet i Enköping's emergency department since January 2019, mentoring future nurses. Carin also has experience as a Legitimized Nurse in the emergency department since September 2020, having initially started in March 2020, and currently works in a surgical department at Region Uppsala since November 2021. As a SMART-instruktör, Carin focuses on efficient medical simulation training to enhance communication and collaboration within healthcare units. Additionally, Carin is involved in the TUB initiative aimed at early detection and treatment of patient deterioration. In April 2022, Carin became a Förtroendevald for the Vårdförbundet, serving as a safety representative. Carin's educational background includes ongoing studies for a Master's Degree in Specialistsköterska from Sophiahemmet University, alongside advanced training in wound care and a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Mälardalen University.
