Andrey Mishin

Andrey Mishin has a vast work experience in the field of medical imaging and high energy systems. Andrey began their career at Schonberg Research Corporation in 1993, where they worked as the Vice President of R&D, responsible for the development of electron beam and X-ray systems. Upon the acquisition of the company by American Science and Engineering, Inc. (AS&E) in 1998, Andrey transitioned to the role of General Manager of the High Energy Systems Division.

In 2008, Andrey founded their own company, Thought One LLC, where they served as the Founder, Managing Partner, and President. Thought One LLC acted as the exclusive sales representative of American Science and Engineering, Inc.

Andrey joined RADMEDEX LLC in 2011 as the Founder, Managing Partner, and President. During their tenure, they designed and implemented various advanced linear accelerator beam centerline products, with a focus on the development of the ABC-12ER, a new trademark product for RADMEDEX LLC.

In 2016, Andrey joined Varian Medical Systems as a Senior Director, and later that year, they moved to Varex Imaging Corporation, where they held the role of Senior Director until 2022. Andrey then assumed the position of Vice President, R&D High Energy Sources at Varex Imaging Corporation.

Throughout their career, Andrey has played a significant role in the design of new products, particularly high energy X-ray sources for medical, non-destructive testing, and security applications. Andrey has also excelled in project management, international project development, and market expansion, with a specific focus on the Russian market.

Andrey Mishin completed their education at two different institutions. From 1979 to 1992, they attended the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (Moscow Engineering Physics Institute), where they obtained a degree equivalent to a Ph.D. known as "candidate of technical sciences." Their field of study was charged particle accelerators.

In 2002, Andrey Mishin briefly attended Stanford University, but no specific degree is mentioned for this time period. However, they focused their studies on the management of high technology companies during their time at Stanford.
