Brian M.

Brian M. has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2013, they worked as an IT Support Technician at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Brian then transitioned to a QA Intern role at the University of Utah, where they demonstrated strong leadership skills and attention to detail. In 2015, Brian joined EMC as an Associate Business Systems Analyst for one year. From 2016 to 2021, they worked at SelectHealth, starting as an Information Systems Security Associate and progressing to Information Systems Security Staff and Senior roles. Currently, in 2022, Brian is working as a Senior Information Security Engineer at Varex Imaging Corporation.

Brian M. has a strong educational background in cybersecurity and information systems. Brian first attended Salt Lake Community College from 2010 to 2012, where they earned an Associate of Science degree in Business. Brian then pursued further education at the University of Utah from 2013 to 2015, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems.

Continuing their education, Brian completed a Masters degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University between 2017 and 2020. Alongside their formal education, Brian also acquired several certifications in the field. In 2015, they obtained the CompTIA A+ ce certification, followed by the CompTIA Security+ ce certification in 2016. In 2018, they became a certified Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) through EC-Council, and in 2019, they achieved the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification. Additionally, Brian obtained the Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), and ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management certifications in 2019, 2023, and 2017 respectively.
