Gonzalo Tello

Gonzalo Tello has a range of work experience in various positions and industries. Gonzalo currently works as a Software Engineer at Varex Imaging Corporation, starting in 2022. Prior to this role, Gonzalo was an intern at the same company, serving as a Software Engineer Intern from September 2022 to January 2023, and as a DevOps Engineer Intern from June 2022 to September 2022.

In 2022, Gonzalo also worked as a Robotics Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Utah. In this role, they designed a portable pneumatic wristband device that provides tactile feedback, primarily intended for visually impaired individuals or military use. Gonzalo worked on this project from February 2022 to June 2022.

Before their university research position, Gonzalo worked as an Engineer Technician II at Biomerics from March 2019 to June 2019. Gonzalo performed mechanical testing, executed experiments, and provided engineering project support. Gonzalo also played a role in designing work instructions for an injection molding assembly team, trained new hires on assembly procedures, and improved overall product quality.

In 2016, Gonzalo held two positions. Gonzalo worked as a Test Technician at Varex Imaging Corporation from December 2016 to February 2018. In this role, they designed and implemented manual test cases for analyzing defected x-ray panels, diagnosed product issues, and performed troubleshooting tasks. Additionally, they were an Intel Experience Expert at Best Buy from May 2016 to November 2016.

Gonzalo Tello completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Utah between the years 2019 and 2022. Gonzalo'sfield of study focused on Robotics within the Mechanical Engineering discipline.
