Jacob Thomas, PMP has a diverse work experience. Jacob started their career as a Project Coordinator at WACHTER, Inc. in 2016. Jacob then joined Brigham Young University - Idaho and served as a Project Manager, where they successfully developed marketing strategies and managed a team to enhance customer satisfaction. Jacob later became a Senior Project Manager at the same university, conducting research on process improvement and implementing training programs.
In 2018, Jacob joined Varex Imaging Corporation as a Quality Control Intern, where they coordinated with a team to revise SOP manuals and implemented an LMS for training purposes. Jacob then moved on to a role as a CMOS Manufacturing Technician, followed by a position as a Mechanical Engineer. In this role, Jacob facilitated the implementation of X-Ray R&D products and developed manufacturing processes for X-Ray panels.
Currently, Jacob holds the role of Program Manager at Varex Imaging Corporation. In this position, they monitor and drives project performance, manages project portfolios, and ensures the adoption of best practices. With their comprehensive background in project management, research, and process improvement, Jacob has proven himself to be a valuable asset to the organizations they have worked with.
Jacob Thomas, PMP, obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University - Idaho from 2015 to 2018. In September 2020, they acquired the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Additionally, in December 2017, they completed the GD&T Fundamentals Training Course provided by the GD&T Basics Training Course institution.
