Scott Sheaffer

Scott Sheaffer has extensive experience in sales and technical roles in the NDT (nondestructive testing) industry. Scott is currently working as the NDT Product Sales Manager at Varex Imaging Corporation, where they focus on increasing sales of Varex Linear Accelerators in North America through direct and integrator partner channels. Scott specializes in application and commercial development, particularly in industrial NDT radiography applications.

Before their current role, Scott was the Sales Manager at Creaform from May 2018 to July 2019. Prior to that, they worked at GE Inspection Technologies for seven years as the Lead Sales Specialist. In this role, they were responsible for sales and application consulting for nondestructive testing equipment in the oil & gas, aerospace, and manufacturing segments. Scott had expertise in various NDT disciplines such as PAUT, UT, ECT, ECA, and RVI.

Scott's career in the NDT industry started at Olympus NDT in 2002, where they worked as an Advanced Technical Sales Representative until 2011. Scott then worked at Leeds Instruments as a Technical Industrial Sales Representative, specializing in demonstrating and selling Olympus industrial microscopes to the semiconductor and telecom industries.

Early in their career, Scott worked at Titanium Industries as an Outside Sales Representative, covering several states including CO, OK, KS, AR, and NM. Scott started their sales journey at Silliker Labs, where they worked as a senior chemist.

Scott Sheaffer attended The University of Texas at Arlington from 1991 to 1995, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemistry.
