Amy Magness

Amy Magness is an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in financial reporting and operations. At Varian since August 2018, Amy has held the position of Senior Accountant in Financial Reporting, assisting in the preparation of internal financial reports and resolving accounting queries during the monthly review process. Previous roles include Senior Accountant at Endocare, Inc., and Manager of Accounting and Operations at Formation Biologics, where responsibilities encompassed managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and IFRS. With earlier experience as Sr. Accountant at Wing Aviation and various positions in other organizations, Amy has developed a comprehensive skill set in financial management and documentation. Amy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Sam Houston State University, with a minor in Psychology.
