John Yamat

John Yamat is an experienced professional with a diverse background in project management, production, and communication. Currently serving as a New Product Introduction Project Manager and previously in various managerial and technical roles at Varian since January 2015, John has demonstrated effective leadership in the manufacturing sector. Additionally, John holds a significant leadership position as President of Toastmasters International since October 2019, following roles as Vice President Public Relations and Sergeant At Arms. Prior experience includes a Packaging Operator position at Genentech and roles at FedEx Express as a Courier and Handler. John also contributed as a Research Assistant for van Wyngarden Atmospheric Chemistry Research Group, focusing on atmospheric aerosol reactions. Early in the career, John provided musical entertainment at Chi Foundation. John Yamat earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from San Jose State University between 2008 and 2013.
