Umakanth Gollamudi

Umakanth Gollamudi is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in embedded systems development and management. Currently serving as a Sr Embedded Engineer (Systems) at Varian since January 2024, Umakanth previously held the position of Sr Manager & Principal Systems Engineer at ViewRay Inc from August 2015 to October 2023, where responsibilities included designing and developing embedded systems and ensuring system safety and reliability. With prior consultancy roles at Accuray, Advanced Sterilization Products, GE Aviation, Thales, and Speck Systems, Umakanth has demonstrated expertise in firmware development for complex systems and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Educational qualifications include a Leadership Certificate from the University of California, Davis and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Madras.
