Simen Strøm Braaten has diverse work experience in the fields of design, filmmaking, photography, and graphic design. Simen started their career at World Event in 2011 as a Photographer but only worked there for a short period. In the same year, Simen joined Bambus Grafiske SB as a Photographer and Graphic Designer, although the exact duration of their employment is not specified. In 2014, they interned at Condé Nast Italy as a Graphic Design Intern for a four-month period. Simen then co-founded Hyggelaget in 2013, where they worked as a Filmmaker and held a leadership position until 2020. Currently, they are employed at Variant as a Designer, a role they started in October 2020.
Simen Strøm Braaten completed their education history as follows: In 2009, they enrolled at Noroff and obtained a diploma in Design and Media Communication in 2011. Then, in 2012, they attended Deakin University and received a Bachelor's degree in Design and Visual Communications, General. In 2013, they pursued further education at Domus Academy, where they achieved a Master's degree in Interaction Design in 2014.
