Alvin Tang

Alvin Tang is a highly skilled software engineer with extensive experience in software development, particularly in generative AI and growth products. Currently, Alvin holds the position of Staff Software Engineer at Varicent, following roles as Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer within the same company. Previous experience includes serving as the Backend and Admin CLI Lead Developer at Vaccine Hunters Canada, and as Vice President of Engineering and Product Manager at LIVE Competition, where Alvin also contributed as a Full Stack Developer. Earlier in the career, Alvin worked as a Software Developer at OpenText and as a Web Developer for Public Services and Procurement Canada. Alvin is pursuing an Honours Bachelor of Science with Distinction in Computer Science at the University of Toronto and completed studies at AY Jackson Secondary School.
