James Baker

James Baker has a wide range of work experience, beginning in 2008 when they became a Senior Sales Engineer, Operations Management, and Field Engineer for Schlumberger. In 2016 they took on the role of Project Manager for GHD, followed by the role of Project Manager for Sugden & Gee Pty Ltd in 2017, where they provided specialist project management and contract administration services to the construction industry. In 2018 they became the Director of James Baker Consulting, and in 2019 they Co-Founded Varicon. In 2020 they became the Founder of Business Blindspots Tasmania.

James Baker has an education history that includes an Executive MBA from Melbourne Business School, a B. Eng in Civil Engineering from the University of Tasmania, and attendance at The Hutchins School. James has also obtained several certifications, including a Certificate of Completion of all Three Essential Courses from Strategyzer in October 2022, the Invincible Companies Master Class from Strategyzer in May 2020, and the Mastering Business Models, Mastering Business Testing, and Mastering Value Propositions from Strategyzer in 2020.
