Filippos Venetopoulos

Filippos Venetopoulos has a strong background in the travel industry, particularly in the cruise sector. Filippos is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Variety Cruises, a position they have held since May 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Intrepid Group from 2017 to 2020, first as the General Manager Marine from April 2018 to May 2020, and then as the Brand & Sales Manager Adventure Cruising from February 2017 to March 2018. Before joining Intrepid Group, Filippos had a long tenure at Variety Cruises, where they held various sales and marketing roles from 2012 to 2017, including Global VP Sales and Marketing and US Sales Director. Filippos also worked as an Europe Sales Representative at Variety Cruises from September 2012 to May 2014. Prior to entering the travel industry, Filippos gained experience as a Junior Financial Analyst at Piraeus Bank from August 2008 to April 2009.

Filippos Venetopoulos completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Accounting & Finance from The American College of Greece, attending from 2004 to 2008. Later, in 2011 to 2012, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from New York University.
