Donna Pennestri

Donna Pennestri is an accomplished media executive with over three decades of experience in the entertainment and advertising sectors. Currently serving as Associate Publisher and Managing Director of Television & National Sales at Variety since August 2010, Donna oversees day-to-day sales operations, market analysis, and budget management for both print and digital platforms. Prior to this role, Donna held significant positions at Variety from 2000 to 2010, including Director of the Variety Television Group, where management of high-value relationships with major studios and networks was prioritized, and Senior Account Executive for Television Sales on the West Coast. Donna's earlier experience includes serving as Executive Director of Entertainment Sales & Product Development at RCA Gifts and Promotions, and various roles at USA Networks, including Senior Consumer Promotions Manager. Donna holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Boston University, earned in 1990.
