Tim Altbaum

Tim Altbaum has extensive work experience, starting in 1998 with their own company, TIM ALTBAUM PRODUCTIONS, INC, where they served as CEO for 16 years until 2014. In 2015, they joined Vario as CEO. Currently, they are an Adjunct Professor at San Diego State University, where they started in September 2020.

Tim Altbaum, CMP, CMM holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mammalian Physiology and Neuroscience from UC San Diego and a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Network Security from Capitol Technology University. In addition, they have obtained certifications such as the Healthcare Meeting Compliance Certification from Meeting Professionals International in December 2018, and the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification from Events Industry Council in December 2017.
